Akadama is a special type of mineral soil traditionally used in bonsai art and indoor plant cultivation. It originates from Japan and has a distinctive granular texture, manufactured by processing red clay, giving it a specific color.

Description

COMPOSITION: NATURAL PRODUCT BASED ON ALUMINOSILICATE Akdama is a clay rock of volcanic origin found only in Japan. It is exposed to high temperatures to increase porosity and has a slightly acidic pH. It is used primarily for its excellent long-term drainage and for retaining water and nutrients, releasing them gradually.
